Zahra is a Policy Manager at Revolving Doors, a national charity which seeks to end the cycle of crisis and crime by combining policy, research and lived experience. Zahra works to coordinate Revolving Doors’ influencing and communications relating to policing and diversion, sentencing and probation, resettlement after prison, multiple disadvantage, and systems-change.
Before joining Revolving Doors, Zahra worked for Clinks on health and criminal justice policy and development. She spent over two years in India working for a grassroots human rights organisation, advocating for reproductive rights and documenting the experiences of Rohingya refugees in India. Zahra has a particular interest in the needs and experiences of neurodivergent people who are in contact with the criminal justice system.
