Toluwani Osabiya initially studied an undergraduate degree in pharmacy. However, driven by an innate yearning for broader horizons, Toluwani delved into computer science and programming, and through this exploration, developed a true passion for data science. Following the completion of an undergraduate degree and the accumulation of clinical experience, Toluwani decided to pursue a Master’s degree in Data Science in the UK.

Toluwani was a Data Scientist at the Leeds Institute for Data Analytics (LIDA), working in collaboration with the ESRC Vulnerability & Policing Futures Research Centre and Connected Bradford. In this role, Toluwani used his research skills to investigate and identify factors that predispose children to become ‘Looked After’. Toluwani explored possible relationships between various factors like deprivation and inequalities across ethnic and geographic lines.

Toluwani’s research interests include health analytics, the environment and net-zero.

Beyond the realm of professional pursuits, Toluwani Osabiya is an avid supporter of Arsenal Football Club. When not immersed in work or engrossed in a captivating book, Toluwani loves to engage in video games.
